If the terminology is used differently, you might wish to contribute it to the thread where we indicate such linguistic differences (in order to create a database), and help others avoid the same confusion. I can say that, no matter what you like to think, the UK and the USA are NOT the same (certainly not politically). Forse " state" e' piu' usato negli USA o UK per indicare i vari dipartimenti in cui e' divisa ogni regione? Ma non riesco comunque a fare una distinzione. Mentre state penso significhi Stato o Dipartimento di Stato. L'idea che mi sono fatta e' che country significhi stato inteso come nazione, paese, (oltre, ovviamente, agli altri significati non adatti al caso, come campagna ecc.), quindi io nel campo corrispondente inserirei "Italia". Io ho fatto qualche ricerca, ma non sono riuscita a trovare grandi differenze o spiegazioni chiare. Nella fattispecie, dovendo riempire dei campi in una iscrizione online, ci sono queste due voci, che fino ad oggi mi risultavano sinonimi, o quantomeno simili. Vorrei sapere se qualcuno puo' aiutarmi per quanto riguarda la differenza fra le parole " country" e " state". Salve a tutti, e' il primo thread che apro qua, spero di non sbagliare sezione e/o tipo di richiesta, se cosi' fosse siate clementi ehehe
